Phenyl silicone – or methyl phenyl silicone – is a polydimethylsiloxane with phenyl groups. The phenyl content improves various properties such as oxidation resistance, thermal stability, shear resistance and optical clarity.
The most prominent characteristic is flexibility at extreme temperatures, with operational ranges between -90 °F to +500 °F.
And, when blending phenyl silicone with fluorosilicone, we can further enhance the design of your product.

OVERVIEW
Methyl phenyl silicone rubber is a high molecular weight polysiloxane composed of dimethylsiloxane links, diphenylsiloxane links and methyl vinyl siloxane links. It can be vulcanized by peroxide or cross-linked by silicone hydrogen addition vulcanization into elastomer.

TYPICAL PERFORMANCE
The JGGX 108,208 series is constructed as a methyl siloxane chain link and a phenyl siloxane chain link to form a molecular chain backbone, which is suitable for one-component and two-component condensed silicone rubbers. By adjusting the phenyl content, different application purposes can be achieved, so that it has good high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, flame retardant self-extinguishing property, viscoelasticity and the like.
